COVID-19 update

Stay safe & stay tuned.

The current crisis highlights the need to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Vitrion supports the measures taken by all to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Despite this, our production team is still at work and Vitrion is ready to keep providing unique glass processing solutions!

Vitrion is in operation

LPKF Laser & Electronics AG was quick to implement preventive measures,  ensuring the safety of its employees in all its locations. The experience from our colleagues at LPKF China was invaluable for this. Homeoffice work, staggered shifts and physical separation means that we can continue working while still helping the fight against COVID-19. Lead time of four weeks remains valid.

Free fast track delivery for all COVID-19 related orders

In an effort to contribute to help saving lives affected in this pandemic, we’re offering free fast track shipment for any order relating to the manufacture of products used in the fight against COVID-19.

Vitrion expansion on schedule

Four months ago, LPKF announced the construction of a new ISO 6 cleanroom factory at the company headquarters that will significantly expand the production capacity of our precision glass processing service. While some measures had to be put in place to ensure the continued safety of everyone involved in its construction, we are pleased to announce that we are on schedule.

LIDE technology improvements

Vitrion and its customers have always enjoyed the constant development of our Laser Induced Deep Etching (LIDE) technology. Despite the current situation, this extended time at home has been having a positive impact in the creativity of our engineers. We are happy to announce that we have new high quality, high aspect-ratio design capabilities, new improvements to throughput and higher accuracy in glass microprocessing!

Please contact us if you’d like to know more about the unique capabilities of Laser Induced Deep Etching to process microfeatures in glass.
Our best regards. Stay healthy.
